Welcome > Ministries > Small Groups

Small groups provide a wonderful opportunity to grow in your faith and in your relationship with other members of our church family.

Ladies Circle - for all ladies of our congregation; meets the 2nd Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m.; Bible study or topic at each meeting along with discussion of different service projects they engage in, including an annual bake sale and luncheon usually in November, and a rummage sale in the spring; affiliated with the International Lutheran Women’s Missionary League, a very active women’s mission group of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod.

Adult Choir - practices are held every Sunday evening from 7:00 to 8:30; a very fun and enjoyable group that usually presents a major cantata each year and sings in Sunday morning worship services and other special services periodically.

Handbell Choir - practices are held weekly (usually Wednesdays at 5:45 p.m.); play periodically in worship services.

Labors of Love Meals - these are meals that we provide free of charge on the 1st Thursday of each month for the poorer people of our area. A different "team" of about 10 members prepares and serves the meal each month.

Shut-In Ministry - involves taking tapes of worship services or taped devotions to our shut-ins each week.

Go-Getters - a group specifically targeting adults 55 years and older who meet monthly to engage in fellowship with others and do a little traveling.  We meet the third Thursday of each month.
