At Little Lamb Preschool, we believe that Christian Education is an
important aspect of God’s mission as commanded by Him to the Church. We offer opportunities for physical,
spiritual, social, emotional and intellectual growth by providing children a
positive, creative, stimulating and orderly Christian environment. Our program consists of play, “hands on”
experiences, and learning centers as we believe that children learn more
readily when given opportunities to experience first hand the wonders of God’s
world. It is our hope
that by providing a well-rounded program and by developing the whole child, our
children will go on to enjoy continued success in school.
PURPOSE AND
VALUES
The value of early childhood
training is indicated in the Bible:
“Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will
not depart from it” Proverbs 22:6.
Likewise, in the words of Ephesians 6:4, “Bring them (your children) up
in the training and instruction of the Lord.’
A Christian home gives a child his/her first Christian training and
instruction. At Little Lamb Preschool,
we share in this responsibility with you by providing a loving, warm, secure
environment where children receive Christian training and instruction. We also strengthen and support parents in
their Christian training efforts.
Little Lamb Preschool accomplishes this by:
*Providing early Christian
Training and instruction;
*Assisting in the gradual
adjustment from home to school life;
*Helping each child learn
to cope with life situations at his/her own level of maturity;
*Developing creative and
academic abilities by providing experiences and materials that give many
opportunities for exploring, thinking, and reasoning;
* Developing skills
necessary for each child to find success and happiness in our ever-changing
world;
*Broadening each child’s
interests and opening many “doors of
learning” for him/her;
*Promoting learning
through work and play; and
*Preparing each child with
skills for future school success.
PRESCHOOL
PROGRAM
We offer Preschool for children who are 3 to 4 years of age by
September 1st, three days a
week (Mon., Wed., and Fri.) from 9:00 –11:30 a.m.
Our program is designed to meet and foster all aspects of each
child’s development. Through the
activities in our program children will grow:
*Spiritually, *
Socially,
* Emotionally, *
Physically,
* Creatively, and *
Intellectually.
Our curriculum includes:
* Religion, * Art,
* Music *
Language arts,
* Mathematics, * Science,
* Social studies, * Physical
education.
We offer a wide variety of developmental experiences in these
areas, which are age-appropriate for each child. We use both teacher-directed and
child-directed method of teaching young children.
Little Lamb Preschool serves the whole community and admits
students of any race, color, religion, national and ethnic origin to all the
rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made
available to our students.

each Sunday Morning at 8:00 and 10:15 a.m. and Sunday School 9:10 to 10:00 a.m.
